Co-Founder
Aldo Legarda
Aldo has over 30 years playing American Football at all levels. As a player, he has won the flag football championship at Boston University, won a championship at the Zogsports Co-ed league in NYC and is a 6 time champion in the HK American Football League. As a coach, he ran the youth HKAFL program from 2012-2016 and currently runs the Flag Football program at the American Club. Aldo has a certification in Youth Flag Football from USA Football.
Head Coach
Jonny Kuilderd
Jonny is one of the founding members of the HK American Football League and has played the sport consistently since 2010. He holds the defensive touchdown record and sack season record in the HKAFL. On the side Jonny works as a Referee for the China National Football League (CNFL). As for qualifications, He has earned certifications in Youth Flag Football, TRX Group Training, NASM International Personal Trainer, and is a former Crossfit Level 2 Trainer. His coaching experience is not only in Flag Football, but also in Varsity Girls Soccer and Varsity Boys Basketball.
U8 - U12 Coach
Alice Kim
Alice grew up with a lot of exposure to sports, such as taekwondo, tennis, and swimming. She was a sprinter in her high school's track team. She has worked with teaching younger students in K-Pop choreography for 3 years, and tutoring math. She has represented Hong Kong at NFL China Flag National Championship in 2023. She is USA Flag football certified.
U14 - U20 Coach
Vincent Cheung
Vincent is a passionate flag football coach, having earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology specializing in biomechanics and his Master's in Occupational Therapy from McGill University. With 15 years of experience in flag football, he has celebrated 3 individual awards and 2 championships in Canada's largest flag football league. Vincent loves working with youth, blending technical expertise with a fun and supportive coaching style. He is dedicated to helping young athletes not only improve their skills but also find joy and fulfillment in the game.
